My first kingfisher and product of a superb day out with Dean (WindowonWildlife) and Brian (Brian65).

I was mentally exhausted after such a rewarding and exhilarating day - thanks both for taking me 'under your wing', you made my day! GrinGrinGrin

Well done John! I'm happy to give click No. 30, a well-deserved RC. Superb pic, the sharp-focused kingfisher stands out so well from that unobtrusive background. I notice you're using a 400mm lens, have you had that long?
