Ungainly maybe - but amazing to see these birds in flight. These three swans were coming into land onto the River Stour this morning. Unaltered apart from slight crop.

Brilliant capture John, This for me is your best uplaod so far Smile
At first glance I thought it must have been DM (and that would have been good) but to have managed to capture these as you have is fantastic, the colours are perfect with the blue sky as the BG and the DOF is spot on,
I'm very envious of the one Smile

Pete.

A fantastic photograph, John. Very well done Smile

This is beautiful John, catching the landing with one swan like this would be great but in triplicate its outstanding...great exposure.

What a well timed shot John, the blue sky makes a perfect background for the three swans. Superb clarity and detail.

They always look like they are on their way to an accident when landing.....still, very large birds for flight, and they do generally manage Smile usually.......

Nice shot
