A view from the summit and highest peak of Beinn Eighe, Spidean Coire nan Clach. The enigmatic neighbour Liathach in the centre with Beinn Damh and Beinn Alligin in the distance.

It was a pretty cold and lonely place to be and I was glad to be down before it got completely dark.

A grand and perfectly balanced landscape, John. The distant warmth and light help to accentuate the coldness and bleakness of the foreground beautifully.
