One of the streams that run off the Cuillin into Glen Brittle. Unfortunately don't know how to pronounce it.
This is my personal favourite of the shots I took on my recent trip to Skye.
Thanks for looking.
Large is available.
Very very nice.
Breathtking view, great light and tones.

Wonderful image, the detail in the large version is superb. Great landscape, colour and light.
You don't have to be able to pronounce the name if you can photograph it like this John, bonnie afternoon light down Glen Brittle.
All the very best

Aye Doug, but how do you pronounce it?
An absolute belter John
Looks like the river we know as ' Kor, a Maddie' !!! Makes a good expression, ... but an even better photo.
Hope it goes to 100, ... it should !!
Thanks Scott, thought it was on them lines, I know how to pronounce some of the Munroes but struggle on the lochans and rivers.
well composed and colorful landscape

Stunning capture and work
Very nice, good composition and you've caught some great light. I haven't been there for 2 years, makes me want to drive back tomorrow.
Great light and range of textures in this.
Stunning work John!
Allt corry a vadda, would be my guess.
Or allt corry a vay
Fabulous shot. It's got everything.
Cheers Chris, got conflicting views on the pronounciation now, 'maddie' or 'vadda' ???

'Mh' tends to be pronounced 'V' and at least one of the 'D's is silent, probably the second. Possibly both , thus 'Vay'
Mmm.. confussed now!
Excellent shot John, super light.
I imagine it's all been said already, but this is simply first-class...
cracking image.... the foreground light hitting the rocks and the cloud rolling off the mountains is just wonderful.
