I guess when photographing mountains you are always after a bit of light, a rainbow just adds the cliche likely?
I know the guys and gals up at Pitlochry are heading this way on Saturday so here's a taster and I hope they get some decent light.
I met up with them for one night at the hostel and had a bit of a laugh with them, cheers Paul for the ale.

Cheers Neil and Melanie, to be truthful I think the light is too much or at least in the wrong spot and unfortunately divides the image in half but I just couldn't resist a fleeting shot of the rainbow and hope it makes up for it a wee bit.

What a beautiful image, and the added bonus of a rainbow !!

Erh well yes Martin but except for my reservatons about the blinking light.... ![]()

This mountain tends to live in the shadow of the Big Shepherd across the glen. You've done it proud here with it's halo of colour.
Nice work and yet abother fine image from Scotland.

I think your being a bit hard on yourself John. This is stunning. Short listed ![]()
Den
No Den, just being honestly critical of it, I know it would have been better with different light.

It's not all that bad John, and the rainbow does lift it a bit![]()
