Beinn a' Chearcaill is a fairly unremarkable hill to look at but it is remarkable in that it's flat sandstone slabbed summit offers fantastic views into it's loftier Torridon neighbours.
The eagle-eyed among you may recognise the prominent features of Sail Mhor and Tripple Buttress, a few magnificent features of Beinn Eighe.
wow you are one serious mountaineer and photographer, great image
Rugged landscape beautifully taken John. A credit to landscape photography !!!
superbly captured in lovely side light, nice one.
Superb light, textures and composition.
Well titled ...... a totally barren summit other than a few mosses (I think).
The strong low side lighting enhances the effect of a moonscape so well.
Fantastic! The way that the scattered rocks catch the light is sublime. Plus Torridon is a great fave of mine. I've spent some happy times there.
So have I Andy....
