I had a few hours out yesterday with the camera under grey leaden skies. My patience paid off though with half an hour down on the local beach.
Thanks for looking.

It's amazing how half an hour of the right culmination of conditions can re-kindle ones photographic enthusiasm.

beautiful shot, like the reflections and the rays in background
Glad your spirits were lifted.
Great wee shot!!!

Cheers all. Was lucky with the timing of this, an ebbing tide, smooth instead of rippled sand and clearing cloud coinciding with the setting Sun.

Despite very bravely putting the horizon right across the centre, this image really works, the rock is the icing on the cake. Gets my user award any day! There are Calendar Companies all over screaming out for images like this.
I hope this image does really well for you, it's a real cracker (and local too!)
Andrew.

Cheers Andrew, appreciate your thoughts. I've never been a slave to 1/3s rule concerning my beach shots as usually there is as much interest in the sky as under foot, I stick to it more in my mountain images though as they tend to look more natural that way.
Thanks for the award, there may be a few more of this particular sunset to come along..![]()
BTW, where as these calender companies? I can't hear them screeming...![]()

Beautiful sky and sense of space, enhanced by having the horizon in the middle.
