Thanks Ron for the award. It was quite a tough day, gaining the ridge in fresh deep snow then the precariously narrow ridge in places made a great day to be in the hills.

Really like this one John. Has a great sense of scale and grandeur. Might make a great mono too which would remove that bit of blue sky which I find almost distracting if that makes any sense?

It does make sense Den, I've agonised over the slight blue colour cast as well that was quite prevalent in these images, there was a very deep overhead blue sky. I'm always unsure what colour snow looks best at, often converting to mono removes any colour issues but in this case I wanted a natural as-seen feel and I think this does represent it quite well.
However, I think I will experiment a wee bit with the colour cast and maybe try a few monos of this set.
