I took a series of photographs from this same position, & throughout this particular hour, the reflected light, shadows & clouds moved around reminding me of a kaleidoscope.

This is stunning, what a reflections, and your timing of the cloud capture is spot on.
Thanks Ronnie. Listening to others, I was fortunate to catch Wastwater in decent light & in calm conditions (although a 0.9 ND filter helps!) And the light varied enough through the day to keep me occupied capturing very different moods. One of those productive days. Then again, I spent the whole of the next day on Buttermere waiting for a break that never happened!

The clarity emphasised by the stillness is superb and something I've only seen very rarely up here so for that reason I reckon worthy of an award, the image is pretty good as well Baz....
