No doubt Guineafowl it is, I may well have it wrong! By: johnriley1uk |
Really excellent, you've made a brilliant image in very unpromising surroundings. By: Esge |
Macabre the thought may be, but would an old person be the better choice for a model in this shot? Then Sands of Tiime would take on a whole deeper meaning. By: retec |
Great image, although I don't think you needed to make the door red. By: Alan_Coles |
The filters are a built in feature. By: johnriley1uk |
The Mermaid you set loose brought back your tears Brilliant and please accept a User Award, both for the picture and for the dedication of your model. Splendid on every level. By: nineteen68 |
Many thanks for the Christmas wishes, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you Nathan, and also the same to everyone who is on ePHOTOzine! By: johnriley1uk |

A nice clean shot with good atmosphere. By: JaniceFreeman |
Nice shot. Have you thought of cropping the left side to remove the distracting buildings in the background? By: ugly |
That's unusual and highly effective. By: mikepearce |
Thanks jeanie! By: johnriley1uk |
Thanks Ronnie, you've relocated it for me. Of course, it was on our return from Elgol that we stopped here. By: johnriley1uk |
It's an interesting tree and a good subject for IR. By: MARKDYSON |
Well Nathan, rather you that me! Don't forget to let us know what it tastes like! By: johnriley1uk |
Thanks guys. The light top right was not diffused as we were experimenting with more dramatic lighting. So the shadows are quite deliberate, although it's a matter of taste as to whether it works or not. By: johnriley1uk |
Thanks Laurel, it's an ear stud. I'll remove it from any future versions. By: johnriley1uk |
Almost Last of the Summer Blooms Sorry, that lens was not used. It was shot with the Pentax W90 compact, so the fixed zoom lens was the one used. By: johnriley1uk |
Fantastic things Trolley buses, quiet, smooth, efficient, free from noxious fumes. I think it was a huge backward step to replace them with diesels. By: nanpantanman |
The Q fish-eye lens is a fixed f/5.6 so no chance of stoipping down, but the format is so small that the DOF is immense anyway. No tripod, this was placed on a shelf and the delayed action used to prevent shake. By: johnriley1uk |
No criticism, it's a charming shot. I would crop slightly to remove the white thing and also to remove some more of the extraneous background. Otherwise, lovely double portrait. By: jeanlynch |
A beautiful shot. By: pentony |
That's an unusual and highly effective portrait. Very bold and dramatic. By: G3 |
Beautiful. By: RonnieAG |
Gorgeous, although I think I would ditch the strap and crop slightly higher. By: Angi_Wallace |
Excellent exposure and sharpness and also an inspired use of a square format. By: GardenofEden |
