Good Boy! by BydoR9

Good Boy!

I rather like the slightly odd colour balance on this.

Basking in the Winter Sun by johnriley1uk

Basking in the Winter Sun

It doesn't seem to have the S-shaped beak of the Corn Bunting, although it's very close otherwise.

Framed

I like what you've seen here. IMHO cropping off the brickwork on the left gives a more graphic result that looks stronger.

Project Decay - Month 33

I think they have more value than you might suppose, there are some very desirable classic cameras.

Harbour View by Sezz

Harbour View

Very impressive, with the two magic ingredients of great composition and great light. I don't think I've seen light as good as that in Conwy, so you were there at the right moment and took full advantage of it!

The Lads by abeeror2

The Lads

The Photoshop effect is very suitable and well executed, but the hand placement is very unfortunate. Turning the models more to one side will minimise the huge gap between the legs and asking them to hold their hands behind their backs will avoid them looking as though they are lining up for a penalty shot. Hope that helps!

All Weather Deliveries by johnriley1uk

All Weather Deliveries

No, I wasn't driving, so safety was not compromised. I was sat behind and above the driver's position on the coach as the ADAPS day out to Whitby made its way home.

In the Spotlight by johnriley1uk

In the Spotlight

PS It was quite interesting that this was the only spotlit table in the café area and no-one would sit at it.

Parts of the castle were open to viewing, but not much compared to the overall size.

Ancient Footbridge by johnriley1uk

Ancient Footbridge

Dorothy Vernon probably, named after a character in a Gilbert & Sullivan opera. She started her escape with her lover from the Dorothy Vernon steps leading from the first floor of the hall. Maybe she then fled over the Dorothy bridge, it would make sense.

Jacob by Tracey_McGovern

Jacob

The eyes have it, as always in portraits. Contrast looks fine on my monitor, but I do find the background defocusing a little distracting. Have you softened it in Photoshop? If so, maybe a little too much, if not then perhaps darkening it more would help.
