I had intended to have a day at York Air Museum, but decided it was time my two front tyres were changed. How mundane, but I had a day off anyway. After lunch I wandered over for a Mostly Harmless wander around Astley Green Colliery Museum. This is what I found:
I was using the Pentax MX-1 and although I've been to this location a million times at least, there's always some new bit of machinery to climb over, some rusting cog or girder to check out anew. There are few museums where access is as unfettered as this one and as a consequence it's brilliant.
Tomorrow, back to the grindstone.......
