This was achieved by placing the Pentax Q into a niche in the wall and using the self timer. I usually hide behind the camera, in fact many people might think I have a face made by Pentax, but for once you catch a glimpse.

I'm not sure about the square(ish) format as it makes you look short and squat, may I suggest a more conventional portrait format this would in turn give the feeling of height.

the lighting work and good details in the coat etc, just feel there is a lot of tension in the arm holding the cane, relex a bit more
