One from yesterday in the garden.........apart from a slight vignette, cropping to square and a border applied, this one is straight from camera with no mucking about.
I am just sorry that most of my shots are repetitive and somewhat homespun......... it's just that I haven't been able to move much from the home area this year.

My thanks to all who commented on Chilling Out and special thanks to Morag {MoragM} for her UA: also special thanks to Lillian for her UA for my image Summer Sundae.

Ronnie.

lovely sunny tones of yellow... amazing what you can do with your new camera.

Ronnie I take most of my shots around home in 5 m radius and in walking distance from work... Sometimes one is just to busy, not to mention fuel prices Sad
As too experimental DOF in the meadow, I have done the same with the 300 3.8 in the drizzle today and it was well worth it. much lighter, too.
Even an 85 1.4 does the trick Smile

Ronnie 90% of my images are taken within 3 mile of home that's why I do not do so many landscapes these days as I have exhausted all the local scenes.

This is a beautiful image taken with your usual expertise in floral images.

Well, to add my two cents--- most of my shots are taken with in a very short distance rom my house-- like maybe half a block if we had blocks, the bridge is .2 miles-- way far to lug a tripod, etc, but I do it sometimes---

sad to say , most of our roses surrered from too much heat lately-- so I do appreciate yours! thank you!

This is clean as a whistle Ronnie, love the way the focus softens towards the back, so gently. Nothing homespun about this lovely image.

A natural composition Ronnie, but you've captured it beautifully. What a delight to have these in your garden.
Thank you for your mod to my nasturtium yesterday; I like it very much and I think there are two schools of thought on the images if you read the comments! If you have the energy, please keep the criticisms coming.. Smile

Great that you can get a pleasing arrangement without having to cut the roses.
I love the perfection of flower images with black or defocussed backgrounds but
here you've managed a lovely grass b/g and leaves not detracting from your lovely roses.

Repetitive and homespun?? Tosh, man. No-one here on ePz takes better floral images than you Ronnie. They are always a delight to view.
This one is either very cleverly composed, hence the title, or the title has been very cleverly thought of to match the imageGrin

Excellent lighting, brings out the detail so well.

BTW, have you thought about getting Morrisons to deliver your cut flowers when you need them? Might save you a journey. You must be a platinum customer by now...Wink

You are a Master of the floral shots Ronnie.
These natural roses are very lovely.
Well done with the garden and the capture.

I also have to do much from home due to a chronic bad back.
Glad we have this lovely hobby and the online company.

Another fantastic shot Ronnie.
You should never apologize for repetitiveness if images end up home spun. Not always possible to get out in the field doing what we love to do, and theres no reason why beautiful images cant be taken at home like this one Smile

No apologies necessary Ronnie, this is a beautiful floral image. I haven't been to that many locations this year either, hence why most of most photographs are of insects which are abundant locally
