Patterdale & Brotherswater
A favourite spot of ours. Your super photograph is stirring my travel bug !!!
WIGHITWICK MANOR CHIMNEYS
Superb photos. I know you have a thing about looking up at buildings etc and finding interesting features
We have a number of these wood carriages operating on the Severn Valley between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster
CHIMNEY & ROOF TILES
The textures and colour shades add up to a splendid COLOUR picture.
Two fine photos, both deserving a vote. -- but mine has to go for the second one. The quality of the light and your handling of it is excellent.
V1 gets my vote today, but they are both super pics of the wild flower garden at Dudmaston. I think the framing in V2 is a little too heavy.
TRACTORS ON PARADE
A fine set of vintage machines. I especially like the last one depicted because of the different angle and format.
"Sir Alf Ramsay"
A great job in removing the background, whatever it was. The result is a fine close up of a fine bloom.
Here in the UK there is an expression sometimes used to describe this feature ---- '' it looks black over Bills mothers"". Then the rains arrive.!!
St Mary's Church
Church interiors are nearly always interesting and offer good subjects. Lighting is sometimes a problem but you have coped admirably
A well presented image of a lovely flower. Lots of detail and good colour.
You have again managed to expose correctly to give detaii in the petals, and to record the reds well.
You have found some detail in the red petals-not always easy to do.
Artistic, imaginative, creative etc. etc.
Tranquil scene which is partly due to the soft focussing, and of course to the calm sea.
Excellent detail in this fine photo.
BOAT AND REFLECTION
I always think that boats on water make for good photos - they have colour, design and they generate lovely reflections. You have the lot in this picture!
ON A FINE DAY
V1 is a fine image, but v2 gets my vote by a short head because of the simplicity of the composition and subtle effect of colour.
A fine set of photos of this Iconic Irish landmark
I think it is just fine as it is presented. - it was taken in early morning May sunshine and it really was intense.
An excellent photo of our first Great Great grandson.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
We turned back if I remember, but the weathered old sign deserved a moment in the limelight
On the path from Lynton to Watersmeet I believe. Well exposed. In what seems to be a challenge for both camera and photographer
A SAFE HAVEN
You have done a splendid job in producing v2
Even the common gull deserves his place - and this is a super shot so full of detail.
Great study, good detail etc.
A fun image, indicating your interest in something different ---
Like me for instance,,
DON'T FENCE ME IN!
This is a great reminder of a wonderful trip some years ago
A beautiful image shown to perfection in the frame
We have had goldfinches on our feeders this week.. Sadly I did not take any pictures.
