I am not sure what species this is - perhaps someone can help?
It is in the collection to be seen at the Lakelands Birds Of Prey Centre.

would not have guessed that was taken with such a small aperture! note how your d-o-f has been compressed however due to focal length, throwing the beak out of focus.

i think you were lucky to get the exposure this good with P mode - when you are ready to move of to more logical settings let me know and i will help
