Broadway Tower is a Folly set in the country park of the same name. It stands at the top of the second highest point in the Cotswolds. The hill was a Beacon Hill , and was one of the chain of such beacons upon which fires would be lit to warn of the approach of the Spanish Armada.
The folly was built for Lady Coventry who lived in Worcester some twenty odd miles away.
