A folly commisioned by Lady Coventry in 1799, and standing like a beacon in the Broadway Country park.
I remember seeing this tower so often as we travelled from Blockley to Broadway when on holiday there in 1991 although we never actually visited the Tower itself: so good to see it close up like this.
Fine shot, Ken, and the inclusion of the figures does help one appreciate scale.
Looks an interesting building - great view of the countryside too I would imagine!
This is so much better than the previous upload of a couple of days ago. The figures give scale, the sky is a great bg and the yellow flowers on the incline are very pretty. All in all very wellcomposed.
