This covered bridge is at Bethel in Maine. They are found in many areas of the USA and are mostly unique in there design. The bridges were made with intricate designs to the sides and then covered with a timber roof to protect the timbers. They were of course constructed in the age of horse and cart.

I like the shot however not the metal rail in it. I would have looked for another angle to take that rail out. It kind of takes away from the beauty of the shot. I hope you don't mind me saying that I really like it all but the rail.Smile
