This peaceful small town, Eyeries, is near Cork in Ireland. This colourful and charming row of cottages had to be captured in spite of the telegraph pole. Shall we photographers start a campaign to have overhead wires put underground !!

Great shame about that telegraph pole - suppose with patience and know how it could be erased!! So much easier though if it wasn't there in the first place. A lovely colourful row of cottages.

What a cheery we street with all those colourful facades, Ken: guess the pole is just part of the scene........at least there are no yellow lines, street furniture and parked vehicles.

I absolutley adore Ireland, been about 2 dozen times in recent years. It's such a shame they've done this as I live on an ordinary English terraced street (not at all attractive) and the telegraph pole is in the rear entry, unseen from the road! Surely they could have done that here!

Andrew.

Those ghastly telegraph poles, they manage to creep into many photos. Lovely image of beautiful Cork.

It could be quite a challenge cloning that lot out! Wink They always seem to be in front of the best shots, don't they? Sad lovely colourful capture, telegraph pole or not! Smile
