Taken yesterday on my site visits around the area, its a bit centrally placed in the frame, and as usual breaks all the rules, but i just hate cropping images.
Beautiful detail and texture in this image Darryl. Love it
Rules there just to be bent, eh? Very strong image structurally, Darryl......I like it, the very low viewpoint adding impetus.
Perhaps you have been listening to too many Camera Club judges I think this is a very strong composition. You have a unique style which works really well for me.
probably parliamentary privelege...fiddling with photos is probably an of(fence)
great image strong colour and textures
Love the texture of the wood. Just a question though, did you use flash?
Wonderful pov and processing.
great texture and not a cowpat to be seen very fine capture Darryl rules are only a guidline
Your distinctive style of processing makes a strong image of this, Darryl. If you're happy with the result without cropping then that's how it should stand although I can see alternative crops as possible versions.
Sometimes rules don't apply, and I think in this case the central location is perfect. I gives a sense of strength. I love the details your processing has brought out.
I really like your low pov on these fences and your gritty processing. They transform an ordinary shot into something quite special.
I like the angle...
Two of them, bound together by barbed wire. Could be taken by some people as an allegory of marriage.
Great p.o.v. (more wet breeks?!) makes for a very impressive composition. I love this, a very stylish image.
Like two spiky generals from opposing sides, embracing cautiously after a drawn encounter.
Or as Moira said
I go with what I like for my shots Darryl, I think it is a very good image and well processed. Moira
Like the processing here a lot Darryl
the composition is also what makes this
Works well with the low pov Darryl.
Another cracker Darryl. Great detail. Don
Great image and pov
This is something I see every day here ,and never thought of photographing any.
I really like it,love the colour
Another great image and a great pov. Where you laid down? If so, I don't envy the person who has to wash your clothes!
A superb work against bright.

Rules sometimes have to be broken and this is one of them IMO. love the low angle good detail and well spotted.
Very effective shot.
Sufficiently different either side to work
well with the central posts I think.
Still two thirds one third Darryl, like the texture of the old weathered wood, the straight lines of the barbed wire against the grey sky, nice one like it! cheers m8, regards Leon.
