I've spent an amazing week with my school in the Aosta Valley, Italy. We were very close to Mt Blanc and the Matterhorn (Mt Cervino).
It was an amazing trip - with my favourite activites being white water rafting and abseiling, conquering my fear of heights.
Of course, I only brought a 'non-dslr' camera, so I was entrusted with the family Panasonic Lumix TZ7. However, my dad thought the battery would last the whole holiday, and thus didn't think I needed a charger. He was wrong. After the second day - the camera died, and I went MAD!! I went so far as to ask special permission to go to a camera shop in Aosta. The charger was 50 euros, so I bought a disposable one for 8 euros - which was alright.
I reckon the only reason that my Dad didn't want me to pack the charger, was because he didn't want me to take hundreds of pictures that he would have to sit through late on a Friday night!!
This particular one was of Lillaz waterfall, near the town of Cogne. I've posted two versions. Sadly, on the lumix there was no feature that I was aware of to change the shutter speed, so no milky effects - but PERHAPS THAT'S JUST AS WELL!!
I went out to see 'Stomp' and 'Les Mis' in London yesterday. HIGHLY recommended. In Les Mis, Nick Jonas (very famous American Teen singer) and Lucie Jones (amazing X Factor finalist who I wanted to win) , were amongst the star-studded list.
