Quote: His eyes are really sharp and look great. However, to me his face is quite soft, and in comparison the eyes are too sharp. I would have sharpened his face a bit to better match the eyes. I hope this makes sense TongueGrin. This is just my opinion and others may not agree with me Grin

Fair comment, you have a point and will tweak the image - Jonathan

The Valley by Carrie_1

The Valley

I rarely comment on, or even look at landscape images, but this one just had to be seen and admired....what a total beauty! Excellent, love the shadows...would prefer the image sans borders and on a black background...but that's just my personal taste, however I think it would make that stunning spring green stand out even more. - Jonathan

The photo has some potential but the horizon really needs to be straightened as it distracts from the artistry - Jonathan

Quote: Why do they have rice? stuck to their foreheads? Great portrait GrinGrin

It is the Balinese version of a Bindi. The Balinese are Hindu, not Moslem like the rest of Indonesia. The Bindi is made of rice instead of turmeric..

Venus As A Boy by MichaelBilottaPhotography

Venus As A Boy

What amazes me more than the sheer wonderful work that this image is, is the fact that it only has 11 votes including my own...Excellence is often overlooked in favour of the mediocre - Jonathan

Lone wolf.... by BURNBLUE

Lone wolf....

As I've said before, your photography is the stuff of Natrional Geographic, stuff that inspires, tells a story and is the 'real' photography of an age when quality and dedication to a craft was still truly valued - Jonathan
