Do you know what Jon? There does seem to be something missing.

But I can't put my finger on it.

The water looks great, the foliage fab.

Maybe you need to get lower and/or get in the water. Needs something in the F/G to punch you in the eye.

Can see what Al means, tho' think the comp's fine (lower and you'd lose the stream behind). Think a bit of dodge and burn in the water, darken a little and maybe a touch of curves. Having said that, a good shot nonetheless!

Thanks for your comments. I tend to agree.

I know what it is! Did you take the same shot in portrait mode? Please upload if you have.

I want to see more of the stream and trees beyond.
