We had a total calm, clear sky and brilliant moon last night, which left me with a conundrum - whether to go spearfishing or go and take some pictures...
the piccies won!
i had 2 locations in mind - both martello towers and when i arrived at the first location i was especially please to see the constellation of teh "Great Bear" or the Plough low enough in the sky to squeeze into a couple of shots.
This photo is from the second location - at Vazon beach (Guernsey).

Your photos don't seem to get the number of votes they deserve.
I really like the clarity of the Plough against the stonework of the tower.
