Part of the mill at Calbourne, which still produces flour, they operate the mill once a day usually mid / late afternoon. This is a part of the mill , not sure which part as no one around to ask !! but it appealed to me, even the modern note book. Taken hand held and no flash used, hence I had to use a very high iso, but I think it has come out ok Smile

Decided to upload a variation just because I like it Smile

Thank you all so much for all your C&C's very much appreciated

Thanks for taking the time to look

Hugh

v1 for me Hugh. Love the 'antique' feel and the incongruity of the purple note book.

These both work well, Hugh. V1 as Dave says; and V2 because the purple isn't there Smile

V2 for me, fewer distractions. The purple in V1 makes me want to know if it's a recipe book, the blue bit top right is more annoying. V2 just hangs together better and allows the scoops to dominate.

I rather prefer the mono for this upload. It's the purple tones of the book that take away from it for me in the colour version.

Hugh,
This is a nicely balanced composition. I like the tones in this one as well -- with the predominant earth tones broken by the bit of blue and purple.
Very nice.
