Would be difficult finding a street in Edinburgh this ''traffic free'' !!
A well detailed and coloured shot.

Morning Jon,

A good street scene with a very damp feeling, well caught with no traffic around.

Jon, sorry but although it's a true reflection I found the cable running down the middle of the image a bit of a distraction, it had to go Wink.

There seemed to be a orange/warming cast which I've removed and leveled the image using the corner of the building on the left.

Then after making a copy go into your blend modes and select "Overlay" which makes dark colours darker and light colour lighter. I only wanted to add this effect to the road to try and give it a damper feeling so after reducing the opacity to 38% I erased it from the rest of the image by using a layer mask and black brush.

Take care
Martin

Thanks for all the comments and thanks for the great mod Martin.

I had left the cables in as they're apart of the tramline system and it looked a little odd when I removed them so I thought I'd put them back. Also the title might not have fit anymore and I might have been questioned as to where the lines had gone! I suppose the title makes it okay for the cables to be there.

Thanks again,

Jon

Great image again Jon. Lovely perspective. And brave too!! Not a big fan of removing items from photographs myself though. I think in this one it kinda enhances the line of interest.

Like your pov and the details too, agree about the leaving in the lines but it did need straightening

Thanks for comments and votes, I didn't really notice that it needed straightening before I had uploaded it but I agree, it does stand out now!

Great colours and detail again, would have liked to see a tram coming towards the camera so the lines are leading to something - but that may be a little dangerous....
