For me it is very difficult to pick between the two images. I see textures in the B&W, and tones int he colour version. If I had to pick one for the wall (as they are both strong candidates for a wall), then I would go for the B&W. Perhaps this is because I am in a very B&W frame of mind lately; I am finding that B&W uncovers a hidden image behind a colour version. In this instance, the textures really come to life in the B&W which may have been unobserved or not as prominent in the colour version. That said I do like the contrast of the hillside against the deep blue of the sky.

You have asked for critique, so IMHO, I think you should have either framed closer or cropped tighter to lose the background. Because it is a ladybird on a flower, you don't need the background foliage. That said, it is still a wonderful shot.
