My first visit to this Norfolk beach last weekend didnt result in the glorious sunrise I had hoped for but the skies were dramatic and at the right time (tide allowing) this place is packed with interest for the photographer.

Two in a row, how lovely. A beautiful image, love those little bubbles tossed on the sand from those waves.......Sandy

Its a really great location as is Hunstanton. I didnt get lucky with color at either place but still managed a few decent shots. An area I will definitely be back to.

Great shot Derek, those little Bubbles really catch my eye being so sharp, yet with all that movement of water it looks surreal.

Sublime FG there, the washback around those pebbles is beautiful as is the mercury sea with the more distant splash. The farthest groyne leads out very effectively and the blue palette is very effective in creating mood.

Lovely bright fresh start to the day, even if there was no dramatic sunrise - the splash, foreground bubbles, composition all contribute to making this a delightful capture SmileSmile

I really like the exposure for the water and how you've captured that spray from the wave on the worn away groynes - fine work Derek!

Particular thanks to Dave for his UA. A lovely surprise.

Those worn away groynes are in fact vicious metal piles. Its not a beach to take small children to play on that's for sure.
