I tried to capture this wild flower meadow with the distance showing just sharply enough to identify it. ........ looking across Paisley to the Kilpatrick Hills and beyond.
I was quite pleased with the result (although I feel I could do better next time) and I had thought at the time that there were more wild flowers than seems to be the case.
For those interested and who have keen eyes, Ben Lomond can be seen in the far distance above the right hand HRF.

My thanks to all who commented on Blowin' in the Wind, and with special thanks to Graham {digital_boi} and Kate {Irishkate} for their much appreciated UAs.

Ronnie.

Lovely image Ronnie, these wild flower meadows are reducing year by year, which is a shame,

Wonderful--and I like seeing the wildflowers in the field-- just growing there, they seem so exotic to me!

An unusual take on an orchid pic Ronnie and all the better for that. Do you realise that by taking the orchid in such a clearly identified location will have every clicker in the vicinity tramping to the spot?

The dark side overlooks the light side here Ronnie know the area well was an old stamping ground of mine as I was born in Paisley and my first girl friend lived not far from the right hand white tower block to the eat of your shot.

A very much different view than most would take so great composition a very fine result

An interesting and very well crafted composition Ronnie, however I do feel that there is too much going on, I simply do not know where to start from. "Is the Orchid the main star in this huge production?" or "Is it up to those guys in the wings namely the rolling hills to make it a show stopping performance?"

A very good idea, Ronnie, and very difficult to find the right combination of plants/flowers especially from the prone position. I think this works well in panorama mode.
