Good afternoon, and always a massive thanks to all who have stopped by....been slowly getting round your works...great to see....

So....no guessing who this is...Smile...another portrait shot...but have subtly blended in an image of Snowdonia in his eyes...to envisage where he would like to be.....a tad of clarity and contrast added in Lightroom also.....

Thanks for looking....Jools Smile

I'm enjoying the angle and the intensity. Viewed large there's a halo along the left side of the face, but a textured edge such as stubble is incredibly difficult to isolate satisfactorily.

A fine take Jools with the ''stubbly'' look.
Not as effective if it had been as smooth as a babies bottom I would image !!

On first glance it looked like the doctor on House. I was just looking at a short video on blending those whiskers, would have to watch it a dozen more times to get it down pat though. This is pretty darn good anyway.............Sandy

Like your crop and the gritty nature of the subject, good blending in the eyes too.

Fabulous protrait and great work on the eyes. It's a real shame about that roughness round the edge of his stubble - just a slight flaw in a great shot.

An intense mean and moody image, great idea with the eyes, as you say subtle, but there. Nicely done.

Superb portrait Jools, great eye contact. He sort of reminds me of how I imagine 'Bill Sykes' would look like, the intensity in the eyes and just a hint of the menacing, though I am sure in reality he is a great guy and not menacing at all.

Works very well and tones are good..have a teeny weeny problem with the eyes...they do not convince me, they look small and not sharp enough compared to the rest of the image(Esp the left one for some reason)..don't get me wrong its nice enough but by your current standards not quite there...but miles ahead of many!
