I saw this plucky little butterbur, perched on its rock beside the torrent and just had to make a photograph.
Gorges du Doubs, somewhere on the Franco-Swiss border.

I really like these images you are currently uploading. This reminds me so much of this part of Norway - green, wet, mossy, peaceful.

I like your geographical precision. I like your spring greens too.

I’m getting quite concerned about you Mr B – there seems to be a hint of a style developing as I instantly though this might be yours. The title, the greens, greys, soft water…. There must be counselling available. In any case, rest assured this is another of your greats with very well constructed flow lines (no pun intended) in and between the dark and white water. Good stuff – especially with the green planty thing so still against the rushing stream behind.
Thanks, guys! And special thanks to Pete for the HC.
@Adam: style? Probably not. There's a bit of a grey/green thing going on right now but that will change soon. As for the water, yes, I like it blurry but not so much that it's an indistinct white blob so I don't think I need that counselling just yet.... At least I hope not. ![]()
Pete got here before me - congratulations on the HC
