relaxed

relaxedI think you may try to work on the skin tone / colour... I feel it too much close to the hair colour

Morning Comes Softly

Morning Comes SoftlyJoline,
fantastic moment, and I must say I like many things in this photo ...
however, when I look more seriously, there is something that doesn't fall well on me in terms of composition ...

I get the impression that there's should be less sky and perhaps a little more water...
to achieve this without losing the information (compressing the sky, expanding the water reflexes) only trying another perspective when framing the composition.

The feeling is that the camera level it's very high and the lens, instead of being aligned lower and parallel to the horizon line, is tilted / pointing down ... such that if you were taking pictures from a hill.

is a beautiful image, but in my opinion would benefit much more from a lower perspective and a classical composition 2/3 water 1/3 sky.

regards,
jose luis

Star Catch

Star CatchI think this is a very difficult situation to shot... even so you manage well some isolation of the subject from the foreground...
also the exposure / highlight recover on the seagull it's very well done.
but I think you could benefit more if in a warmer white balance!
