This was near the end of the shoot when we were just trying different things. I think the model looks stunning, but it isn't the most flattering on the side that is nearest the floor. Main image has been quite heavily messed with in Photoshop CS6 playing with layers. So if you have other ideas about what can be done with Photoshop let me know or upload a mod.

Not really sure what you mean by the "side nearest the floor", as on here, she seems to be lying on the floor?

Anyway, looking the the original. You have uploaded NO exif data at all, so I dont know your shot settings, etc which limits the extent of constructive critique.

I find the pose awkward with her arm raised on one side, and her fingers in her hair on the other, - both also somewhat distracting.

The original shot is better than the mod IMO, as the mod is way too yellow. The original in underexposed, so correcting this makes quite a difference. The eyes can be a little sharper, and a crop to place her eyes on a third, which removes the raised arm, and some cloning to cover the finger can help.

Ive uploaded a mod wit this done, and rotated to a vertical format. The aspect ratio is 10 X 8.

Hope this helps,

regards

Willie

In total agreement with Willie and mod except the 90 degree rotation , where there is imho distortion in the mouth due to the original sideways positioning of the model.

A closer crop would imo work better in this situation.

Take care

Youre right Charles, sharp eyes, - loaded mod2 with the mouth a little different. Used the anti gravity brush!

I am in agreement with the 90 degree rotation that Willie has added, I find that V1 makes me want to bend my neck to to look at the shot which is uncomfortable and that is not want you want when looking at such a pretty model with such gorgeous eyes.

Thanks for the feedback, I wasn't sure about whether it should be turned 90 degrees on account of the gravity. But the mod certainly works. Thanks.

Like the eye connection but for the mod you would need to add some hair to the LHS to balance to look

I do like what you have done in photoshop, especially the luminosity of the lips - what was that that gave her skin such colour and drama?

In terms of critique for me the crop is just a bit tight for me. I do like the sideways view though.
The black rings around her eyes iris is just a bit too thick though. Enhancing the eye shadow works well for me.

Super shot though.
