An intriguing and attractive double portrait. There's a nice balance between the two gazes, they complement each other. And as Rende says, the backlighting is beautiful.

The light here is wonderful, as is the subject matter. My cat perches in exactly the same way over my shoulder - claws digging slightly into the skin on my back....

Excellent tonal range in the conversion.
