I chose a slightly different route for my morning walk the other day, and found this, in the middle of quite a large field. I was wrong to blame the council !

You have been feeding me false information Patrick.
I thought I had lost an old friend here and I knew
there was some life left in the old soul yet.
Obviously moved to pastures new for a bit of R and R.
It needs a final resting place so it can end its life in peace.
I humbly suggest you take it into your back garden for a bit of TLC !!
Mick.
