Argiope

Agile and quick, and well fed it seems, this gaily dressed spider measures about 1 inch without his legs. Right before my lens, he darted to the side of his web, snatched a cabbage white and wrapped it up for storage in a matter of 3 shutter clicks! (see v 2)

Excellent macro work on this brightly marked spider, Jenn: it must be some size when the legs are taken into account. Amazing just how quickly it was able to parcel up it's catch.......fascinating stuff.
