Tried to photograph this trailing fuchsia outdoors but gave up, snipped off a sprig, brought it indoors and managed to get this half decent shot by my usual method (well, I think it's half decent although I won't be offended if you see it differently).
Details: see EXIF
My thanks to all who CandC'd on "Fading Elegance".......glad it proved to be satisfactory to so many.
Ronnie.

not an easy flower to make the most of the photo but you have succeeded and done so well
A half decent shot, Ronnie? It's a fully decent shot! A very beautiful flower, and excellently captured and presented as always ![]()

What a wonderful fuchsia, those colours are just perfect!
the lighting is perfect as you do it
There are a group of flowers I love and never feel able to pay full justice to with the camera lens! This would be one of those! Reckon you settled for the right way to capture these beauties and it's a gorgeous image.

Well, Ronnie, if you feel this is only half decent, then I'll only give you a half decent point then
I would prefer to say "It ain't half decent, this one!"
