Excellent. As you say, reminds me of those classic fashion shots from years ago. The monochrome version is much better, for me. |
I'm not sure if I like it or not... I think I do but it's hard to be sure. It is definitely striking and shows some thought going on rather than just snapping, and it's certainly not a 'so what?' shot which many are. Nice one! Oh yes, V2 is better. |
Very nice indeed. No need for retouching, or indeed makeup. Lovely lighting, just enough shadow to show a bit of definition without intruding. |
V1 is very good. I like it not being a conventional 3/4 head on shot of the whole thing, but looks at the shapes etc. that characterise the engine. Nice one. V2-5 are fine as well but a little more, dare I say, record-ish. |
Very nice shot, nice light good composition. I've uploaded a md which cuts off some of the foreground, which is empty and doesn't really contribute much. Just a thought - see if you prefer it. Also, just personal, but I don't like frames (digital that is, not physical). |
In the Eye of the Wind II by Emeranie Well, the model is nice and you've handled the exposure well. I think this shot might be better a vertical composition, because as it is you have that house in the distance which is distracting, and have cut off the model's legs. Good, interesting pose though and worth pursuing. |
A Morning at Bamburgh by phil99 Yes, nice one. Classical shot of Bamburgh Castle but none the owrse for that. You've got some great light and a nice sunset, which isn't over the top. Also I like the fact that there is a little bit of light on the castle so it isn't a complete silhouette. |
Storm Clouds and Poppies by Mynett Well, this is an interesting shot, albeit a tad heavy/dense for me. I also am not keen on the border etc. Far from boring though, and shows some strong creativity. |
Is that a natural sky? Excellent image in any case. Not so sure about the title. |
Ringed Plover attack by nigelpye Excellent. |
Oh yes, very nice indeed. If I were picky I might say the trees are a little bit featureless, but that would be fussy. Nice one! |
Nice shot, but I find the castle kind of merges with the background. If the light had moved round to illuminate the front face castle a little bit that might have been better. Good shot though, nice composition and sky is great. |
