Took me a long time to get this shot of a stonechat that is nesting in the marshland near Helensburgh. There seems to be a pretty small window each year when these are a little easier to get close to, when they are nesting. Spent a long time crawling on hands and knees through reeds and gorse, with my friend John. This was a shot from my third (and most successful) trip to see it.
