This is Gravir which is the village before Lemreway. Its a very long village running along the left and right hand side of the bay.

As you can see the weather was very grey and dull. I had a go at an HDR image to try make the best of the bad day.

Thanks for looking hope you like it Smile

It does look better large if you have time.

This is a good viewpoint and the mood is typical of the area. Though I hate to do it myself, I would try clone out the posts and wires.

Very nicely composed and good Hdr work but maybe a darker sky would add more punch.

Rod

ps Plenty of otters in Cromore specially at the wee bridge between the sea and loch.

Julie, Roy showed me howto use the Patch tool at Rowardennan and now I don't use the clone tool at all on skies! You can find it with the clone tool option.....just draw a patch of sky nearby and select it,then move it over the bit you want to clone and it does its magic! Blens in much better than cloning and looks more natural. Right click and select 'deselect' to remove the patch once your done. Smile

Very typical of the east coast isn't it? Like others, the perspective effect of the "fjord" disappearing into the distance works well Julie. Good stuff.
