Another shot using the same Rockpool at Southerndown last weekend.
I quite liked this despite the sun being burnt out and a curvature of the Horizon.
Thanks one and all for your views and comments
Great shot Jules ... love the people on the beach giving this some scale
Love the way the eye is drawn across the rock pool, the figures giving scale.
Absolutely superb shot!
superb shot, great colour/tones, well taken
Another great shot, Julie. I don't think the burnt out sun is a problem, nor the curved horizon! Viewing large is a must - lovely subtle tones etc
Lovely golden tones. I don't think the burnt out sun detracts from this at all.
Thanks Dave,Chant,Jeanie,Marc,Andy and Bruce, appreciate your lovely comments
Truly beautiful Julie love the golden tones and the silhouetted figures which really adds scale.
Thanks Peter and Mark, great to hear from you guys
Another stunning image Julie. Great tones and light, love the characters in the distance giving life to the shot.
Thanks Alan,i think thats what i liked about it too:o)
Love the fg rock Jules and the figures giving some scale to the shot
Lovely tones and reflections on the water Julie, the figures on the beach feature well and add to the compositon.
Stunning. Love it all. With the large version, you could almost be there.
Beautiful. Love the rich golden tones and reflections.
The perspective on this is just brilliant. The bright part on the horizon is a bit too burnt for me but great shot. PAul
Lovely lighting, Julie, and I like the sense of scale given by the figures in the distance. Great use of perspective.
the burnt out sun is what gives this it's atmosphere.
love this one
A lovely picture, there is a great quality to the light in this one which brings out the rich tones.
Superb tones Jules and the people work really well in the background. If only I hadnt cloned my people out :-(
Another superb shot!
The large version is a must, the foreground detail and textures are great and the people give a sense of scale.
Excellent work as always.
Sharp, great composition, dramatic lighting, great tones, need I say more? Glad to see you uploading again.
Thanks everyone for all your wonderful comments,it's just great to hear from you all:o)
It's not done as well votes wise but I prefer this to the previous one. Think it's the inclusion of the people which gives it a sense of scale. Not quite as dark either so can make out a bit more detail.
You said he'd cleaned the house?.....ere he's not sub-conciously nest building is he?......PMSL....Watch yerself girl!....LOL
Well composed image with excellent depth and great colours.
Thanks Iain for your lovely comment

Like the tones Julie. The people in the background give the shot extra dimension.
