I like the overall effect, well composed and so on; but I'd like to know how it was lit. The shadows on the church seem somewhat at odds with having the moon behind it.

love it. very spooky effect

Really appreciate all your lovely comments.

In answer to the question of the lighting...the shot was actually taken on what was a really bright sunny day,i adjusted the levels and then added a lighting effect in CS,the shot was then colour toned.

Thanx all

Hi Julie, this is very good, full of atmosphere, very spooky.
I like the way you've turned day into night, I remember you uploading what seems like a different view of this monument a long time ago?, that was great too.
Nice to see a "Classic Jules41" shot on here again, great work.
Geoff.

I quite like the tonal quality of the picure, which gives an eery feeling of being lost in a mysterious medieval place in the dead of night. The cross mounted on the arrangement of stones enhances that feeling.
Very good, creative work, Julie.

This image is very haunting, would be good on the front of a Sci-Fi book. Good detail in b & w. Thanks for sharing!
