Agree the sea is a bit flat tonally and featureless could crop it as lonely_oryx says or maybe try and pull a bit of colour and texture out of it with PS ?

Thanks guys for your comments. Your suggestions certainly seem to work better. Thanks for the mods.

The interest is indeed in a small section of the shot, I think that theboat is a little too close to the fisherman and perhaps a small move to the right, when taking the shot, may have helped.
