Your comments regarding my tulips were very interesting. I enjoyed ALL your comments , whether you liked the background or not. Just let me say that the actual flower was presented as in the original exposure and remained un-tweaked. The background was simply done using various photoshop brushes and a bit of cloning. Than I used topaz clean, adjust and detail to get the dose of texture. I'll be a bit gentler with the brushes next time ![]()
This is from my archives ( still April rain here) and goes specially to Ronnie and all Scots on the forum.

A fine shot of the lighthouse Annette, you've composed this shot so well
A very pristine lighthouse, and what a wonderful place or the keeper to live--- Beautifully photographed!
As to FACE--- I do not think so as it was located near the ship with the flags---- however, I do not know what it is----likely a huge engine for a fishing boat.!
Wonderful eye catching image.. The white of the lighthouse against the blue sky compliments perfectly.
I know this lighthouse well, Annette as I was born in Lossiemouth (Dad was stationed at RAF Kinloss). I think this is the best photo I have seen of this beautiful structure.
My weird sense of humour made me think of eight normal sized chimneys and a new neighbour who meant size does matter
, but it's not a chimney, is it...sorry, my over-active imagination on the go again.

The light on this is perfect, and it's a crisp detailed image.
Lovely image, looks very much like Nashpoint lighthouse Wales.
