Another working of Swanage Old Pier. long exposure with some work in PS to convert it and crop to this shape.
Thanks as always for stopping by and to those who take the time to click, comment and vote.
this says "quiet", such a peaceful image.
Quiet indeed - its as if all life has left - the houses even seem to be empty
it is a very beautiful composition. But - hope you don't mind- I really prefer the water like you had it yesterday. This looks too icy to me.
I like this aspect ratio. The mono of V1 is my fav. or the two.
great set Mark, just love V2 - you should hang it on your wall
Love them both Mark but the mono is my favourite
The crop is excellent, Mark, really emphasises the subject, much stronger than the original. They're both very good images and would have been worthy of separate uploads (again). I like the way you have brought out the colours more on v2 but maybe would have cleaned up the bits in the sea.
v2 for me today mark brilliant colours and tones a belter nice one
I like them both very much; great composition and love the water.
I too like them both but perhaps V1 just that little bit more, really like the toning Mark.
Fabulous. I just love what you've done with V1, Mark. Vicky
Oooh yes, love the sepia.
Fantastic and great capture indeed, very well done,
Haven't visited for a while Mark. Its a pity as I appear to have missed quite a few crackers.
Has to be the colour for me Mark, a beautiful shot
