(Salvador Domènec Felip Jacint Dalí i Domènech, Marquis de Púbol)...If he had been, would we now be using cranes and other industrial implements like these?
Could be the start of a new theme, this. Take a famous person and ask the question, "What if...?"

Posted the originals as v3 and v4 in case anyone is in doubt as to how they started life before Senor Dalí got his hands on them.

Just a bit of fun to brighten up an otherwise dull Monday.

Thanks for bothering.

Malc

Someone's been having a good play around. Works particularly well with the wheel in V2. Smile

A good thought Malc.Rust might then be considered as a very highly regarded art form !!
Dali was actually a very highly skilled draughtsman, but at some point he went of the ''straight and narrow'' with his lines.
I suppose I have something in common with the great man.
I went off the straight and narrow some time ago,and when I come out of the Dockers Club,I can never walk a straight line !!
Surreal shots.

I like the first two versions very much.
I think Salvador Dalì was rather a manipulative person, probably due to his being a clock-watcher Smile

I thought v1 was a reflection when I saw the thumbnail! Love what you've done here - very imaginative and it works really well!

Very Daliesque. I particularly like V1, somehow the lines look more appropriate for liquifaction. I was demonstrating this filter to our U3A group last week - it's addictively fun!

LOL. So the roads aren't any better these days?
Cudling weather? It's always weather for a cuddle, but no minus temps. yet. Came close on Sunday with +3c but the 'promised
snow stayed away and fell elsewhere.

good fun Malc but you have restrained yourself somewhat when moving the sliders and come up with good images in my opinion. There is a place for fun in our photography.

Just wonderful--- gave me a great laugh-- left you a note on the coupling image--- and what it S. Dali had a chance at designing them!

Great fun - I love v2 - I think this is very Daliesque with its melting wheel. Let's see if others follow through.

I'm quite at home with V 1 and 2, Malc.......things often look a bit like that when I wake each morningWinkWink
Very artistic abstract processing, and good fun on another dreich day here (the norm this year) but good to see the originals alongside.
And thank you for your generous comments on my own offering.
Ronnie.
