Beautifully captured shot with the deer looking back at you. How well the animal stands out from the b/g. and the detail and colours are perfect.

Hi Ian,

I'm not sure off hand how much the depth of field was. Just a few centimetres I'd imagine as I was fairly close and using 700mm focal length on a full frame camera severely limits the depth of field. There was probably just enough to render her ears and nose in focus, the focus point would have been firmly on her eye.
