wow what a superb capture and the dof is so spot on, what was your dof for this shot out of interest.
Hi Ian,
I'm not sure off hand how much the depth of field was. Just a few centimetres I'd imagine as I was fairly close and using 700mm focal length on a full frame camera severely limits the depth of field. There was probably just enough to render her ears and nose in focus, the focus point would have been firmly on her eye.
A fabulous shot of this beautiful creature in her natural habitat, as always the eye contact is excellent
