The guy is my lucky husband in the back garden, the wings are takens from some birds of prey and many hours of editing and bending the feathers....would you like to see the befores?
The story is, my Hubby is an regional manager and one of his areas is security for Manchester, so I did this photo for him as he watches over MAnchester day and night....my city angel.
To the people that doubted me....keep doubting, because I am just getting warmed up.....
To everyone else, spread you wings and fly....don't let no one hold you back in anything you do, they will look very small on the ground when you are soaring high.

The composition is superb, as is the manipulation - this is wildly, dramatically creative.
I would prefer without the lightning strike, it creates a distraction. The angel's thoughtfully malevolent gaze over the city is the real story.
