Hi all, Life has been very hectic so just haven't been able to upload. What a lovely surprise to return and find so many great comments from such nice people.

I did make time however, to get some shots of our neigbour's new puppy. This is 6 w.o. Widgy and Lexie. Lexie went into this frozen stance (very handy for a photo that!) waiting for me to kick her ball while Widgy wanted Lex to play with her. While I was with her in her enclosure, I was licked, sucked, chewed and generally loved to death. Such a darling baby.

I have so many of your shots to catch up with. Please forgive votes in lieu of comments.
Thankyou for your on-site friendship.
Jenny

Very nice capture of this pair, I love that little pup. Great when they freeze like that waiting to spring after a toy, the longer they wait the more they go into a quiver and stare even harder.

Hi, I was unable to send you a message the conventional way for some reason when I serached for your username it couldn't find you!
Anyway here are a couple of links to a good site which can help to explain about Depth of Field and ISO settings.

and http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/Glossary/Digital_Imaging/Sensitivity_01.htm
If the links are a problem the homepage is www.dpreview.com and look at the learn/glossary section on the left
thanks for your great comments on my pictures.
